Royal Sutton Town Hall rebrand

Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Hall is a historic venue with a thriving programme of live entertainment, arts and cultural events. Its existing identity no longer reflected the energy or diversity of what was happening inside.

The challenge was to create something distinctive and contemporary while retaining a sense of the venue's heritage and place within the community.

The identity. Heritage, reimagined.

At the heart of the new identity is a bespoke monogram built from the initials RSCTH. Interlocking serif letterforms create a distinctive signature that feels rooted in the Town Hall's history, while its scale and graphic simplicity give it a much more contemporary presence.

A bold, flexible colour palette brings another layer of personality, allowing the identity to shift in tone without losing recognition.

A flexible stage

One identity. Many performances.

From music and comedy to theatre and community events, every performance brings a different audience and personality. The visual system was designed to embrace that variety rather than restrict it.

The monogram becomes a recognisable framework for changing imagery, colour and content, giving individual events their own character while keeping everything unmistakably RSCTH.
